Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Caregiver located in Katy, TX. The Caregiver will provide assistance with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, housekeeping, medication reminders, and mobility support. Responsibilities also include building positive relationships with clients, monitoring overall health and well-being, and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare personnel. The role requires kindness, patience, and a focus on improving the quality of life for those in care.
Qualifications
- Experience in personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Ability to perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient attitude
- Organizational and time management skills to manage caregiving tasks efficiently
- Basic understanding of health and safety guidelines, CPR certification is a plus
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for scheduling
- Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is highly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent, additional training or certifications are beneficial
