Job Summary
Does it bring you joy to assist the elderly with daily activities? We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to assist an elderly gentleman in Vienna. He is residing in a facility, and also has assistance from the facility staff. He has some mobility difficulty, but can use standby assistance. Primarily he needs a companion caregiver to spend the afternoons with him. Expect 6 hour shifts with openings every day of the week.
Benefits:
Hourly rate of $17 to $20 per hour based on licensing and experience.

Job Responsibilities
Must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:
Follows the instructions of the RN Supervisor in providing personal assistance services.
Provide assistance with hygiene such as bathing, oral care, and dressing.
Assist with food preparation; serve food, performs errands, light housekeeping, laundry, wash dishes.
Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client’s home or any significant observations regarding the client.
Attend staff meetings, attend/complete 12 hours of annual in-services, and participates in orientation of new employees.
Report client complaints to the RN Supervisor.
Report abnormal findings in client’s conditions as observed and per care plan to RN.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Two years of experience as a Caregiver. CNA license, CNA certificate, PCA, or HHA preferred.
Requirements:
Authorized to work in the United States
Pass a background check and drug screen
Current Driver's License
Current TB test
Reliable transportation, able to travel throughout Fairfax County and surrounding areas
Immunizations to include COVID-19 and flu strongly encouraged
Salary : $17 - $20
