Caregiver Compensation and Benefits:

Caregiver Responsibilities:
- Assists client(s) with medication reminder(s)
- Assist client(s) with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside
- May be responsible for client(s) transportation to appointments or errands
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene, such as toileting, bathing, and dressing
- Encourage client(s) to complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
- Perform light housekeeping tasks that client(s) cannot complete on their own, including but not limited to, laundry, meal preparation, dishes, and making the bed
- Maintain proper documentation about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
- Report any unusual incidents or changes in condition to nurses, doctors and family members
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Maintain strong and respectful communication with the Always Best Care Loudoun team and client(s)
Caregiver Requirements:
- Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required
- Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Must be respectful and compassionate with good bedside manner
- Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
- Physical endurance to complete required tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent
