Description of the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Always Best Care Senior Services of Studio City . The Caregiver provides assistance and support to our clients in their daily activities, promoting their independence and well-being. Our clients live in the following area: Burbank, Studio City, Valley Village, North Hollywood and surrounding areas.

- $20/hour for weekday shifts and $21/hour for weekend shifts

Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care (diaper changing) and dressing
- Providing medication reminders
- Preparing and serving meals according to dietary restrictions
- Provide light housekeeping
- Assisting with mobility and transferring clients
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for clients
- Engaging in conversation and providing companionship to clients
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor
- Some clients require that caregivers go grocery shopping, pick up medication at the pharmacy or accompany seniors to their medical appointments
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Caregiver/Home Care Aid for at least one year
- Two references required
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Physical stamina and strength to perform the duties of the role
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Proof of a TB test taken within the last year showing clear results
- Able to complete in-person orientation and online initial and annual caregiver training
