Caregiver Needed – Parkinson’s Client (Chapin, SC)
Location: Chapin, SC
Schedule: 7 days a week - 5 pm - 9 pm
Pay: $14.75 - 15.25 /hour, based on experience
Always Best Care Senior Services – Midlands is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver/CNA to assist a client living with Parkinson’s disease in the Chapin area.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with safe transfers, including sit-to-stand and sliding board techniques, and will provide personal care with patience, dignity, and respect.
Responsibilities
Assist client with transfers using sit-to-stand and sliding board
Provide support with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Offer companionship and emotional support
Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
Maintain safety awareness and clear communication with the office
Requirements
At least 1 year of caregiving experience (home care, facility, or private duty)
Experience with Parkinson’s disease or mobility assistance preferred
Ability to safely use sit-to-stand and sliding board equipment
Must pass background check and provide reliable transportation
Smartphone required for documentation and communication
