Per Diem / Part-Time Caregiver

Job Summary

Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is seeking dedicated and compassionate Caregivers to join our team in Simsbury and surrounding towns. As a Per Diem / Part-Time Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients while enjoying a flexible schedule. We are seeking individuals with at least 3 years of experience working as a Caregiver, who possess a strong empathy for seniors and are looking for a rewarding career.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable
• Answers phone calls for clients when necessary
• Converses with patients to provide assurance
• Observes Universal Precautions
• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities, and shopping
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes
• Light housekeeping
• Provides medication reminders
• Meal preparation and clean up
  
  
  

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Non-Medical Caregiver required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
