Hourly Caregiver

Summary:

Our skilled Caregivers make more possible in the lives of our clients. We are looking for an experienced Caregiver who has excellent communication skills, personal care experience with seniors and someone who truly loves providing care. The main function of the Caregiver is to provide care for clients in a safe, secure, professional environment which meets their needs. We are currently hiring for Part-Time Caregivers looking to work 8-20 hours a week. Our In-Home Caregivers will report directly to the Staffing / Care Coordinator.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable
• Answer phone calls for clients when necessary
• Converses with patients to provide assurance
• Observes Universal Precautions
• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes
• Light housekeeping
• Provides medication reminders
• Meal preparation and clean up
  
  
  

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Caregiver required
• State CNA certification / CHHA certification preferred but not required
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Must have Cell Phone / Tablet
