Caregiver

Summary:

We are looking to hire a Caregiver for a Client in Plainville that needs assistance 7 days a week for a total of 56 hours each week. The schedule can be either 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm. Tuesdays the schedule will be 2pm-10pm. The Caregiver will assist the bedbound client with things like personal care, bathing, dressing assistance and general companionship. This role is needed to start immediately, apply today. The Caregiver chosen will report directly to the Director of Operations.

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday-Sunday 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm, Tuesdays 2pm-10pm

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable
• Answer phone calls for clients when necessary
• Converses with patients to provide assurance
• Observes Universal Precautions
• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes
• Light housekeeping
• Provides medication reminders
• Meal preparation and clean up
  
  
  

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Non-Medical Caregiver required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Must have Cell Phone / Tablet
