We are a small but growing electronics recycling company located in Rossville. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Electronics Recycling Technician. This position offers a flexible schedule and requires reliable transportation. The primary responsibilities include working in our workshop, disassembling electronics, clipping wires, sorting through bins, and performing other related tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Disassemble electronics and separate components for recycling
- Clip wires and sort through various electronic components
- Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs on electronics and computers (knowledge in this area is a plus)
- Engage in manual labor tasks such as moving items around the shop and loading/unloading vehicles (ability to lift at least 50 lbs is required)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop area
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols
Requirements:
- Handiness and technical ability with tools
- Knowledge and interest in electronics recycling
- Basic understanding of computer troubleshooting (preferred)
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
