Retail Sales Associate

We’re currently seeking a friendly and dependable Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team!

This position offers limited hours and is perfect for retirees, semi-retirees, or anyone looking to stay active and engaged while earning supplemental income.

Schedule

Saturdays, 8 am-2 pm, are required. Additional hours can be discussed.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance to enhance their shopping experience
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
• Maintain attractive merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales floor is tidy
• Assist with inventory management by stocking new products and conducting stock checks regularly
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support supervising staff during busy periods, helping with cashiering, customer service, and overall store operations

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Outdoor Power Equipment and small engines is preferred but not required.
• Previous sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions
• Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos to engage customers effectively
• Proven customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
• Supervising experience is advantageous for supporting team leadership tasks when needed
