Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities of this role include the following:
- Supporting the preparation of Managed Care, Medicaid, and other Government Rebate packages
- Utilization of the Revenue Management system to understand how to process rebates effectively
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders to facilitate seamless operations with cross-functional teams
- Working in adherence with current work instructions and recommending processing improvements
- Creating trending summaries and analysis of Rebate programs.
- Observing experienced colleagues to acquire industry best practices and achieve proficiency in company software
- Active participation in team meetings, contribution of ideas, and effective communication with clients or vendors
- Maintenance of organized files and thorough documentation
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or General Business Studies.
- Strong skills in Excel and other MS Office Suite applications
- Ability to work independently
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
- Ability to commit to a specific duration of the internship
