Alvin’s Island is a fun, fast-paced retail destination offering beachwear, souvenirs, accessories, gifts, and vacation essentials. We are looking for an energetic and motivated Store Shift Leader to help lead our team and create an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Position Summary:
The Store Shift Leader supports daily store operations and assists management with supervising team members, maintaining excellent customer service, and ensuring the store runs efficiently during assigned shifts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leadership, retail, and working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support team members during assigned shifts
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Ensure the sales floor remains organized, stocked, and visually appealing
• Support cash handling and register operations
• Monitor store cleanliness and safety standards
• Assist with inventory management and merchandise replenishment
• Help train and coach employees on store procedures and customer service standards
• Support management in achieving sales and operational goals

Qualifications:

• Previous retail experience required
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented attitude
• Basic computer and cash handling skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Schedule:

• Full-time.

Starting at $17.00 per hour
