- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License.
- Valid CPR Certification.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Practical knowledge of nursing procedures and techniques relevant to children.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while following district policies and procedures.
- School nursing experience preferred but not required.
- Training will be provided.
- Provide nursing care and first aid to students.
- Administer medications and treatments according to district policies.
- Maintain accurate student health records and report concerns as needed.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and administration.
- Consult with Lead Nurses or other campus nurses for support and guidance as necessary.
