Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Daily Operations (60% of role)
- Perform comprehensive daily reconciliations for all client programs and treasury accounts
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies between systems and banking records
- Collaborate with external partners and internal stakeholders on reconciliation process improvements
- Respond to operational questions from finance, accounting, and business teams
- Use SQL or other data tools to quickly retrieve and organize transaction data without relying on the tech team.
- Coordinate invoicing activities using treasury data
- Support compliance reporting initiatives for treasury and finance functions
- Prepare accurate account statements and support month-end close processes
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field
- 1 - 4 years in treasury operations, finance, or accounting with reconciliation focus
- Daily reconciliation experience: High-volume, vendor-facing reconciliation work
- Banking background with understanding of United States payment systems (ACH, FedWire transfers, RTP, RDC, etc...)
- Prior experience within a bank, fintech, or other financial institution leveraging financial systems and data tools to bridge business and IT teams.
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Fluent in English
- Exposure to digital banking and payment processing in a fintech environment.
- Experience with automating manual processes and integrating AI into workflows
- Attention to detail: Critical for identifying discrepancies in daily reconciliations.
- Analytical thinking: Ability to investigate and resolve complex reconciliation discrepancies.
- Communication skills: Collaborate across treasury, accounting, and operations teams.
- Comfortable working with large data sets and able to create accurate reports from raw data.
- Basic ability to run queries and extract information for treasury and accounting tasks
