The AERO Specialties Manufacturing Materials Associate is responsible for supporting production by coordinating the flow of materials throughout the manufacturing process. This role works closely with internal departments to ensure materials are received, validated, stored, and delivered efficiently to meet production schedules. The individual in this position ensures timely and accurate movement of goods, maintains inventory integrity, and assists with preparing parts for both internal use and external processing.

- Performing factory transfers to the SSO warehouse to varying manufacturing shops.
- Receiving manufactured parts and raw materials, validating part quality and ensuring quantities match packing orders/slips and AERO Specialties tolerances.
- Storing received parts and raw materials in the correct storage locations.
- Conduct daily Manufacturing Departments physical inventory validations.
- Pulling work order parts (kitting) for the varying Manufacturing Departments.
- Performing monthly inventory cycle counts.
- Packaging Manufacturing Department parts for outsource processing.
- Loading and unloading of trucks.
Requirements
What qualifies someone for this position?
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Ability to anticipate problems and develop a plan of action to prevent delays in the organization's workflow
- Ability to communicate with individuals at different levels in the organization
- Working knowledge of the products sold by AERO Specialties
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to operate a forklift and/or complete our internal forklift training program
