We are recruiting a VIE Contract for a General Accountant to join our American team based in our American Headquarters Chicago.
As part of the local finance team and in collaboration with the French Finance Director, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
- Supporting general accounting tasks (journal entries, account analysis, month-end closing)
- Assisting with financial reporting and internal controls
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for data accuracy and compliance
- Supporting the optimization of accounting processes and tools
Required Skills :
- Previous work experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
- Excellent knowledge on reporting and analysis tools (advanced Excel, ERP, etc.).
- English required (working langage) French is a plus
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (minimum Bac 3)
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting ideally in an industrial service environment.
