Full-Time Non-Tenure Track Instructor of Biology in Pottsville, PA
The Science Department in the College of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics at Alvernia University invites applications for a non-tenure-track full-time position in Biology beginning August 2025. This position will be primarily at our community-based campus in Pottsville, PA. There is the possibility that teaching requirements may extend to the main campus in Reading, PA.
We seek candidates with an MS or PhD in Biology, with a primary focus in Human Anatomy & Physiology, Clinical Microbiology, and evidence of quality teaching experience. Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate biology courses, advising students, and engaging in service to the university. Prior experience teaching laboratory courses in Principles of Biology, Microbiology, and/or Human Anatomy & Physiology is also desirable.
