Position: Associate

Full-Time Associate roles are available for students pursuing undergraduate and Non-MBA master’s degrees with graduation dates between December 2025 through July of 2026. Our full-time class starts in September 2026.

What We Look for in an Associate Full-Time Hire:

We’re looking for driven, intellectually curious undergrads with an attention to detail who thrive in fast-paced, problem-solving environments.

Our ideal Associate is:

  • Analytically Rigorous: Thinks in structured, hypothesis-driven ways and backs ideas with data. Case interviews test your ability to break down complex problems and drive toward practical solutions
  • Self-Starter: Takes ownership, shows resilience, and brings curiosity to every challenge
  • Collaborative & Persuasive: Works well in teams, listens actively, and can influence through logic and presence - not just volume
  • Clear & Composed Communicator: Explains ideas with clarity, adapts to the audience, and stays cool under pressure


CRG New Hires:

  • Receive Training: Participate in onboarding bootcamp and training to develop quantitative and qualitative skills
  • Make an Impact: Collaborate on real client projects - working alongside CRG consultants, engaging with clients, and gaining visibility with senior leadership
  • Gain Mentorship: Learn the ropes through CRG’s hands-on apprenticeship model - plus 1-on-1 coaching from a dedicated mentor

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree or Non-MBA master’s degree from a top university
  • Internship or relevant experience, Consumer or Retail-related business or consulting in a professional services firm environment preferred / or corporate positions with a financial and operational focus
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
  • Strong analytical mindset and data fluency
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to distill complex insights
  • Creative thinker with a knack for building tools and solving problems
  • Commercially savvy with exposure to proposal development
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Willing to travel up to 70% (Monday–Friday)


The salary range is $100,000 - $115,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.

Full-time Positions and Part-time Positions Over 30 hours:

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings’ fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time as well as a 401(k)-retirement plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave.
