We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Receptionist to join our team at Rosemead Healthcare Center. As a Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by providing exceptional customer service, managing phone calls, and completing various administrative tasks.

Position Summary:

As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for:

• Greeting residents, families, visitors, volunteers, and staff while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor
• Answering and directing phone calls, as well as taking messages and handling correspondence
• Monitoring the lobby entrance and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all
• Completing general office responsibilities, including maintaining accurate records and filing documents
• Providing COVID screening and adhering to infection control protocols
  
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous receptionist experience is desirable, but not necessary
• Experience in a long-term care setting preferred
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge and awareness of the care needs of the elderly and/or chronically ill
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
• Ability to work effectively with others, including patients, families, and staff
• Patience, tact, and a cheerful disposition
  
  
  

Physical Capacities:

• Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday
• Ability to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner
• Ability to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
• Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility
• Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 4 feet
• Ability to push, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 2 feet
  
  
  

Position Details:

• Part-time position, weekends only (Saturdays and Sundays), 4 pm-10 pm
• Competitive hourly rate: $19.47 HOURLY
