Job Summary:
Perform lift truck operations and physically move materials in and out of department to timely support each work area. To move inventory in/out of specific rack locations. Process incoming and outgoing shipments daily/weekly. Track moves in computer (QAD).
Job Responsibilities:
- Move parts in/out of inventory to support manufacturing and record these move, in/out of rack locations in the computer (QAD) by using a scanner and ERP system computer.
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments daily.
- Distribute materials to appropriate areas.
- Stage product for shipment and prepare all shipping documentation.
- Organizes and updates the warehouse inventory.
- Move scrap and waste materials to specified hold areas and/or load for transport.
- Maintain all records as required, i.e. production reports, scrap reporting, downtime records, quality measures, maintenance work orders, Factivity, etc.
- Ensure that all inbound and outbound shipments are processed in a timely manner.
- Receive and unload all incoming freight.
- Receive and load all outgoing shipments.
- Organizes and updates the warehouse inventory.
- Perform timely audits and cycle counts of all finished goods products. Report discrepancies to scheduling/materials management.
- Communicate with customers and/or suppliers on expedited loads.
- Back up other production jobs in the facility as/when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe and orderly work area.
- Other duties as assigned by manger.
Education, Skills and Experience:
- Forklift Experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Computer Skills Required (QAD, ERP Systems and Barcode Scanner)
- Mechanical aptitude
- Basic Math - Percentages, addition, subtraction
- Oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently at a good pace

- Requires standing, walking and/or moving about for time periods in excess of one (1) hour.
- Requires some sort of repetitive turning and/or lifting motions to be performed.
- Work overtime as needed
- Work with pressure of meeting schedules, personnel issues, changing priorities.
- Basic computer/PC knowledge/skills preferred.
- Work with all levels of employees.
- Perform position requirements while wearing eye, foot and/or other protective devices as required.
