The Site Manager will have overall authority and responsibility for the successful performance of all aspects of a government protective services contract for a NASA site. The Site Manager will supervise and manage a NASA location that falls under a large Protective Security Services contract. The NASA Site Manager will be responsible for managing and leading a team of professional security officers providing physical security, locksmith services, emergency preparedness and response, security systems administration support and services, K9 operations and technical support.

Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Responsible for the overall supervision, management and evaluation of all personnel at the NASA site(s)
- Oversee first response to emergencies; federal law enforcement; supervision of mobile patrols; inspections and searches; traffic enforcement; and investigations;
- Manages all operations consisting of Security and Law Enforcement professionals, ensuring all work requirements, training requirements, and clearance levels are met
- Provides continuous assessment and evaluation of NASA contract performance and initiates appropriate corrective action as needed to ensure compliance.
- Ensures responsive customer-focused services through direct communication and coordination with the Government and other contractors.
- Prepare, review, distribute, and maintain General Orders, Post Orders, and emergency and special orders for each security post and position

Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Have and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance
- (5) years minimum experience in supervising and managing a major security contract.
- 10 years of experience managing 50 armed contract law enforcement personnel or law enforcement employees
- Completely understand the operational requirements of the contract to include the requirements of Emergency Management, Protective Services, Emergency Response and Training
- Candidate must be able to obtain Emergency Response Official (ERO) certification
- Possess good communication skills with ability to clearly articulate complex concepts
- Ability to pass a comprehensive medical examination, psychological and drug screening;
- Must be a U.S. Citizen;
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Preferred Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Criminal Justice, Business Management/Administration, Industrial Security or related field
