POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Operations Services, LLC has an exciting opportunity for an Electronic Door Technician II supporting Tinker Air Force Base located in Oklahoma City, OK.  The Electronic Door Technician II installs, maintains, and repairs automated door systems, ensuring they function safely and efficiently. They work with various door types, including sliding, swinging, and revolving doors, and may also handle access control systems. Their expertise covers both mechanical and electrical aspects of these systems, requiring strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of safety regulations.

• Installs new automatic door systems, including frames, openers, and control systems, according to blueprints and specifications. 
• Performs routine maintenance and emergency repairs on various automatic door systems, ensuring they operate smoothly. 
• Diagnoses and resolves mechanical and electrical issues using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools. 
• Ensures all installations and repairs comply with safety standards, building codes, and industry regulations, such as ANSI/BHMA A156. 10. 
• Provides technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients, explaining maintenance procedures, and building positive relationships. 
• Works with other technicians, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless integration with building structures and security protocols. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Associate’s degree in Manufacturing Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong understanding of automated door systems, including mechanical and electrical components. 
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently. 
• Deep knowledge of safety regulations and building codes related to automatic doors. 
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients and colleagues. 
• Ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and working in various positions. 
• Relevant certifications, such as AAADM certification, may be required.
