DINING EXPERIENCE SERVER JOB DISCRIPTION:
As a dining experience server, you will interact with residents, families, and guests. You will take food and beverage orders and deliver those orders to our residents, families, and guests in a timely manner. You will ensure accuracy and quality presentation of the meal prior to serving to the customer. You are expected to adhere to the highest standards of great customer service and hospitality. You will work with kitchen staff, assist with bussing table, resetting tables, and restock inventory as needed. You will be responsible at ensuring that the dining atmosphere during every mealtime is an enjoyable experience for the customers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Be reliable and adhere to posted schedule.
- Set and Reset dining room for meals.
- Take food and beverage orders for customers.
- Serve residents in your section in a timely and polite manner.
- Clean & re-set the tables per supervisor’s instructions.
- Vacuum Dining Room Carpeting in between meals.
- Delivery excellent customer service.
- Remember customers’ names and greet them politely.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, safe food handling and procedure manuals; remember & practice the rules.
- Report to work well-groomed and in a clean uniform.
- Deliver meals to resident apartments in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Food and Beverage experience preferred
- CPR Certification.
o Experience in customer service in elderly care, including individuals with dementia preferred.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Flexible schedule.
Job Related Physical Requirements
o Able to move throughout community areas independently.
o Able to stand and walk the entire shift.
o Able to lift and carry up to forty pounds, bend, stoop, pull & twist.
Reports to the Dining Service Director.
Pay: From $15.50 per hour
Work Location: In person
Salary : $16
