Requirements MultiCare Yakima is looking for a full-time (M-F, 8am - 5pm) clinic-based Audiologist to begin ASAP. We're glad to discuss schedule modifications (if needed) with interested candidates.Responsibilities for our Audiologist role include: You will perform diagnostic hearing tests including pure tone air and bone conduction testing, speech audiometry and impedance audiometry for patients from birth to seniors. You will interpret test results for patients and physicians.You will make recommendations regarding the need for medical follow-up, hearing aids, ear protection etc.You will conduct hearing aid evaluations to determine the most appropriate amplification for an individual and then fit the aids to the patient providing detailed instruction on the operation and maintenance of the instruments.You will provide routine maintenance and hearing aid troubleshooting for aids purchased through this office.Requirements are: Active Washington state license - preferredSuccessful completion of a master’s or doctorate degree program that includes clinic practicum experienceMaster's degrees require Certificate of Clinic Competency in AudiologyAuD at a board approved institution are considered to have met professional work experience requirementCurrent BLS Certification
