We are seeking a detail-oriented Buyer/Purchaser to join our team and help ensure our manufacturing lines have the necessary raw materials to operate smoothly.The RoleWe are seeking a Junior Buyer / Purchaser with 1–2 years of experience to assist in the procurement of raw materials, components, and supplies. In this role, you will work closely with production and inventory teams to monitor stock levels, issue purchase orders, and maintain strong relationships with our vendors.Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Purchasing: Prepare, verify, and process purchase orders (POs) for raw materials (mesh, aluminum, hardware) in a timely manner.Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure no production downtime; analyze stock usage to anticipate future needs.Vendor Relations: Communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery schedules; follow up on open orders to ensure on-time delivery.Data Entry & ERP Management: accurate entry of purchasing data, pricing, and receipts into our ERP system (Oracle experience highly preferred).Discrepancy Resolution: Resolve shipment errors with vendors, including incorrect quantities or damaged goods.QualificationsExperience: 1–2 years of purchasing, buying, or supply chain experience (Manufacturing background is a plus).ERP Skills: Must have hands-on experience with an ERP system (Oracle is preferred; SAP or similar systems acceptable).Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.Attributes: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to negotiate effectively.What We OfferCompetitive Pay: $19 – $24 per hour, negotiable based on experience.Health, Dental, Vision Insurance]401(k) / Paid Time OffA stable, collaborative work environment in the manufacturing sector.Assessment NoticePlease be advised that as part of the interview process, candidates will be required to complete a competency test to demonstrate:Computer Proficiency: Practical skills in Excel (formulas, formatting) and basic ERP navigation.Communication Skills: Professional email writing, typing speed, and accuracy.
