Responsibilities
- This is a working supervisor position, and the large majority of the shift will be spent on the floor.
- Supervise daily maintenance operations within the foundry, including mechanical, electrical, and facilities management tasks.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts on complex equipment issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs for high-voltage and low-voltage systems to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations by conducting regular inspections and safety audits.
- Mentor and supervise maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with project management teams to implement upgrades or new equipment installations with minimal disruption to production.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting, ideally within a foundry or heavy industry environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience, including working with schematics and troubleshooting high-voltage systems.
- Familiarity with industrial machinery, HVAC systems, and facilities management practices.
- Hands-on experience with industrial maintenance procedures involving low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to industrial environments and experience conducting safety audits.
Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
