Summary
As a Hi-lo Driver at Aluminum Blanking Company, Inc., you will be an essential part of our warehouse operations, responsible for safely operating high-low forklifts to move materials efficiently. This role is crucial in supporting our mission of delivering high-quality processing services while ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
Shift
Monday through Thursday -5am- 3:30p (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays as needed) (may flex depending on production and other factors)
!!! Must be able to pass a background check !!!
Perfect Attendance Premium - $2 more per hour! (included in the $16-$18 wage)
Responsibilities
- Safely operate hi-lo forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload products from delivery trucks and storage areas.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Support order picking processes by preparing materials for shipment.
- Receive and tag incoming and outgoing material
- Tag and pull loads to prepare for shipment
- Conduct physical inventory on steel and wood pallets
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating hi-lo forklifts in a distribution or warehouse setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations.
- Experience in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks is essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Good basic math skills and the ability to complete necessary paperwork and correspondence
- Self motivated and able to work under minimal supervison
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
