Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installer Glazier to join our construction team. Candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting, using hand and power tools, and working at heights on various construction sites. Duties
- Install glass panels, windows, doors, and fixtures according to blueprints and schematics
- Perform fabrication and assembly of glass and related components on-site or in the shop
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to cut, shape, and install materials
- Measure spaces accurately for proper fitment of glass and fixtures
- Conduct caulking, sealing, and trim carpentry to ensure finished quality
- Hang doors, install cabinets, metal stud framing, and perform remodeling tasks as needed
- Assist with construction estimating for project planning and material procurement
- Follow safety protocols at all times during installation and fabrication processes
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a clean work environment and properly handle all tools and materials
Qualifications
- Proven experience in glass installation, carpentry, or general construction site work
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and fabrication techniques
- Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, drills, levels; power tools including grinders and saws
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more)
- Strong understanding of caulking, fixture installation, metal stud framing, drywall finishing, and remodeling processes
- Experience with construction estimating is a plus
- Familiarity with construction painting and handyman tasks is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license preferred for travel between job sites
- Prior experience working on commercial or residential projects is desirable
