The Mold Set Technician is responsible for ensuring minimum downtime and maximum life of the mold. As a Mold Setter you are responsible for controlling the flow of materials into a machine, monitoring the process to prevent issues, to ensure machinery to set accordingly. They are also responsible for ensuring products are produced accurately and within set time constrictions.
Requirements
What You'll Do:
- Troubleshooting mold set failures
- Work with Production scheduling and Operations to facilitate mold changes
- Repair of equipment
- Work with CI and Engineering for process improvements
- Coordinate with Quality to understand and resolve issues
- When necessary, participate in classes and training seminars to learn new technologies and techniques deemed helpful to performance on the job
- Other Tasks as assigned by your supervisor and management

Requirements
What We Need from You:
- 3 years applicable experience or equivalent education and experience
- Must have experience with troubleshooting mechanical/electrical equipment issues
- Intermediate mechanical and/or electrical basic problem solving
- Ability to operate small hand tools, inspection equipment, and common office equipment
- Must be able to generate, follow and explain detailed proposals and operating procedures
- Must be able to analyze and correct complex product and/or process issues using independent judgment
- Must be able to routinely make decisions that affect immediate operations
- Must be able to plan, organize, and implement multiple concurrent tasks
- Basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, database)
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects up to 55 pounds regularly
