About Us Alu Materials America (AMA) is launching a new aluminum extrusion facility in Tennessee, with production starting March 2026. As part of a global organization serving construction, automotive, and industrial markets, AMA is building a strong U.S. presence and seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to build and lead AMA's purchasing and supplier management function.
Role Overview The Procuremtn Manager will establish and operate the end-to-end procurement function for the Tennessee aluminum extrusion plant, including:
- Raw materials and billet sourcing
- Production consumables and MRO
- Capital equipment and tooling purchases
- Logistics and service vendors
- Supplier qualification and cost control
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- Extensive experiences of procurement or supply chain in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of purchasing processes, contracts, and supplier management.
- Hands-on experience managing suppliers and executing day-to-day purchasing operations.
- Ability to work independently and build processes from scratch.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and documentation skills.
