Job Summary
Altus Home Services (Pest Division) is seeking motivated, professional Pest Control Technicians to provide high-quality pest management services for residential and commercial customers throughout our service area from La Grande, OR to Boise, ID.
This position requires a current or previous pesticide applicator license in Idaho or Oregon.
Technicians perform inspections, treatments, and preventive services using company-provided vehicles, equipment, and materials. Qualified team members may also have opportunities to provide additional home services such as lawn care, exterior treatments, or other related services based on experience and training.

After a probationary period, technicians receive company credit and fuel cards for approved business expenses.
Responsibilities
- Inspect residential and commercial properties to identify pest activity and risk factors
- Apply pesticides and treatments safely and in compliance with label requirements and regulations
- Educate customers on pest prevention and provide excellent service at each visit
- Document services, treatments, and notes using our CRM system
- Collect customer payments when required
- Maintain safe chemical storage and vehicle organization
- Drive company vehicles to service locations efficiently
- Perform additional home service tasks (lawn care, exterior services, etc.) when qualified
Requirements
- Current or previous pesticide applicator license in Idaho or Oregon (required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily route
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift, carry, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Preferred (but not required)
- Experience in pest control
- Sales or customer service experience
- Background in lawn care, landscaping, agriculture, or farming
- Experience using hand tools or power equipment
