Administers Allergy Injections
Take vital signs and record findings in AIMS
Assists in controlling patient flow in conjunction with site clinician, i.e. greeting and room patients
Cleans injection chairs between patients and at the end of the day
Administrative Duties
Prep charts for scheduled injections
Obtains all necessary patient records as required by treatment protocol, which may include clinic EMR or outside resources
Appropriately communicates with physicians, staff, patients and Altus colleagues through various methods (i.e. phone, EMR, chat, email)
Works the unscheduled patient report for the assigned site and attends weekly collaboration meeting to ensure all patients are scheduled timely
Assists with scheduling appointments for patients
Assist with ordering of medical supplies
Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
One year of experience in medical assistant role
Active BLS or CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Medical Assistant
Proficient in Google G-Suite
