We are an innovative change for education. With a master approach to education, our students are taught in small group instruction at instructional levels. Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, hallways, restrooms, cafeteria, offices, and common areas on a daily basis.
• Refill restroom and classroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and basic repairs.
• Set up and break down furniture and equipment for school functions and activities.
• Maintain cleanliness of school grounds, including snow removal, sweeping sidewalks, and trash pickup.
• Secure the building, including locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring all areas are safe after school hours.
• Report any safety hazards, maintenance needs, or unusual issues to the Facilities Manager or administration.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including appropriate use of cleaning agents and personal protective equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial or maintenance experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to use standard custodial equipment and cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and to perform tasks that require bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must pass a background check and meet all state and school district requirements for employment in a public school setting.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Ability to commute/relocate:

• This job will require training at our Idaho Falls campus prior to the school opening.
• Rigby, ID: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
