Job Overview
Join our up-and-coming landscaping team as a Landscape Crew Member and be a vital part of transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees and shrubs to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators, compactors and skid steers safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects
- Assist with installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures
- Conduct lawn care activities including fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to promote lush, healthy turf
- Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes
- Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, leaves, and waste materials regularly
- Follow safety protocols at all times while handling equipment and performing physically demanding tasks
Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
- Valid Drivers license
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
- Prior experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred but not required
- Ability to operate equipment such as excavators is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Good physical condition with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor labor for extended periods
- Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning is advantageous
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
