Position Overview

Altura Concepts is seeking experienced, motivated, and results-driven Restaurant Managers to join our growing restaurant group. This position may be assigned to any restaurant operating under the Altura Concepts portfolio of brands.

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading and developing restaurant teams, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and achieving established financial and operational goals.

Our ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with an ownership mentality who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and can adapt to the unique identity, service standards, and operational needs of each Altura Concepts restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

Restaurant Operations

• Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
• Maintain brand-specific standards for food quality, hospitality, cleanliness, and service.
• Ensure proper execution of opening, closing, and shift procedures.
• Maintain compliance with food safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and restaurant performance.
• Support operational needs across Altura Concepts locations when required.

Financial Management & Profitability

• Monitor restaurant sales, labor costs, food costs, and controllable expenses.
• Execute strategies to achieve sales budgets and profitability targets.
• Review restaurant financial reports and key performance indicators.
• Manage employee scheduling to maintain appropriate labor productivity.
• Reduce unnecessary expenses, inventory waste, and operational inefficiencies.
• Ensure proper cash handling, deposits, and financial controls.

Team Leadership & Development

• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop restaurant employees.
• Establish clear performance expectations and maintain team accountability.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily operational priorities.
• Create a positive, professional, and results-oriented work environment.
• Address employee performance concerns and provide ongoing feedback.
• Develop future leaders within the Altura Concepts organization.

Guest Experience

• Deliver exceptional hospitality consistent with each restaurant brand.
• Maintain an active management presence during restaurant operations.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Monitor customer feedback and implement service improvements.
• Promote guest loyalty and repeat business.

Inventory & Cost Controls

• Oversee inventory counts, ordering, receiving, and product management.
• Maintain food and beverage costs within established targets.
• Ensure proper inventory rotation, storage, and waste management.
• Verify vendor deliveries and invoice accuracy.
• Collaborate with kitchen leadership to maintain product quality and cost efficiency.

Reporting & Accountability

• Prepare and submit required operational and financial reports.
• Track sales performance, labor, inventory, and other restaurant KPIs.
• Communicate operational challenges and action plans to senior leadership.
• Implement company initiatives and brand-specific operating procedures.
• Maintain compliance with all company standards and expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing restaurant labor, inventory, and operating costs.
• Understanding of restaurant financial statements and profitability.
• Ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work at different Altura Concepts locations based on business needs.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
