Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide quality in-home care support and assistance to individuals in a home or community setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in caring for people with dementia such as Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson's Disease. A strong understanding of patient safety, and HIPAA compliance.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Monitor and observe patients for changes in condition or behavior, maintaining detailed documentation.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning tasks and ensuring infection control protocols are followed.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental and social well-being.
- Follow all HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy.
Qualifications
- At least 5-7 years of previous caregiving experience preferred (home care, assisted living, or Memory Care)
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with chronic conditions
- Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and safety awareness
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience
- Ability to work independently while following established care protocols
Preferred Skills
- CPR/BLS Certification is preferred
- Alzheimer's/Dementia trained
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
