Your impact
- Own core management reporting: Prepare the monthly Revenue Flash, Monthly Business Review (MBR), and executive reporting packages; Develop clear narratives around performance, key drivers, and variances vs. plan and prior periods.
- Lead OpEx and headcount reporting: Manage OpEx reporting (actuals and BvA) at both consolidated and cost center levels; Partner with budget owners to explain variances, identify risks/opportunities, and recommend actions; Maintain accurate headcount and vendor reporting, including hiring plans and run‑rate impacts.
- Forecasting and FP&A systems: Maintain and update OpEx and headcount forecasts, ensuring they are timely, accurate, and aligned with business expectations; Ensure all forecasts are accurately reflected and reconciled in Abacum (our FP&A reporting system); Help improve forecast precision through better driver-based modeling, process discipline, and data quality.
- Business partnership and decision support: Serve as a trusted partner to functional leaders (e.g., Product, Operations, GTM, G&A) on budgets, investments, and trade‑offs; Translate financial results into clear, actionable insights for non‑financial stakeholders; Prepare materials for and present to senior leadership and C‑suite on performance, risks, and scenarios.
- Product, revenue, and strategic analytics: Support ad‑hoc analysis on product performance, revenue drivers, pricing, and unit economics; Assist in building and refining driver-based models that connect operating metrics to financial outcomes; Contribute to special projects (e.g., strategic initiatives, board materials, investment cases) as needs arise.
- Continuous improvement: Help refine our management reporting, KPIs, and dashboards in partnership with Business Intelligence; Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate reporting, and enhance data integrity.
