The Ultrasound Technologist efficiently performs all tasks within their designated room and demonstrates regard for patient's safety and comfort.

Essential Job Functions
- Performs general or vascular ultrasound exams.
- Assures that a written physician order is received prior to an exam procedure and collects pertinent information prior to the ultrasound procedure.
- Reviews exams on Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), checking for quality and completeness. Completes proper paperwork and distributes exams for interpretation.
- Efficiently performs all tasks within their designated room, including cleaning and stocking their room, cleaning the machine and filter, and deleting exams off the machine daily.
- Demonstrates regard for patients’ safety and comfort during transportation, immobilization and positioning of patient.
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.

- Preferred: A minimum of 1 year Related Experience
