Summary

The Pharmacy Technician Specialist is expected to display expert-level skills in 1 or more areas of the pharmacy and is expected to be a resource for others in the pharmacy.

Essential Job Functions

• Identifies, conducts follow-up, and takes action on unsatisfactory outcomes, unusual findings, special needs, and requests.
• Assures completion of documentation according to the area of specialty.
• Reflects commitment to building a supportive work environment and maintains a positive attitude.
• Appropriately uses resources, such as inventory and supplies
