Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing medication reminders
- Assisting with patient’s laundry as needed
- Meeting safety needs of patients
- Reporting significant changes in the patient’s condition to their direct supervisor
- Preparing light meals and assisting in feeding patient if necessary
- Companion services such as reading and writing letters
- Maintaining documentation and care procedures
- Adhering to privacy policies and infection control protocols
- Bathing assistance
- Light housekeeping
Requirements:
- 18 years of age (or older)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Proof of Auto Insurance
- 1 year of relevant work experience (preferred)
- Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care provided
- Current CPR certification
- Meets the training requirements in accordance with State and Federal laws
- Must pass PCA competency and skills test
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must comply with all local, state, federal, and company policies
