What We're Looking For:
Altra Home Health is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA). As a CNA/HHA, you will be responsible for delivering essential personal care services tailored to meet the unique needs of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient laundry when necessary.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Ensure patient safety.
- Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor.
- Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required.
- Monitor and record patient temperature.
- Assist patients with ambulation.
- Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols.
- Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
- Offer bathing assistance.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
- Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
- Current CPR certification.
- Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.
- Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) may be hired as Home Health Aides and will perform the same essential job functions.
