Duties
- Supervise daily manufacturing activities on the assembly line, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely
- Coordinate with team members to optimize workflow, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and maintain high-quality standards
- Operate and oversee the use of forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and other equipment necessary for assembly and material handling
- Conduct regular safety inspections, enforce safety protocols, and promote a culture of safety awareness among staff
- Manage inventory levels within the warehouse, including receiving, storage, and distribution of materials
- Train new employees on machinery operation, assembly procedures, and safety practices
- Document production metrics, shift reports, and incident logs to support continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory environment with hands-on assembly line supervision
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly
- Experience operating forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and other warehouse equipment; forklift certification is preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures, inventory management, and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience with factory machinery maintenance or assembly processes is highly desirable
