Description
We are seeking a high-level CNC Foreman who thrives in a fast-paced production environment. This is not a "desk job." We need a leader who can manage the workflow of the shop floor while remaining deeply involved in the technical success of every project—from the first setup to the final part.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-On Leadership: Oversee daily shop operations and provide mentorship to operators, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Expert Setup: Lead the setup of complex CNC milling jobs, ensuring machines are dialed in for maximum efficiency and precision.
- Tooling & Inventory: Manage the procurement of perishable tooling (end mills, inserts, drills, etc.) to ensure zero downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Act as the first line of defense for technical issues on the floor; diagnose and resolve program errors, mechanical hiccups, or finish issues.
- Process Improvement: Identify ways to reduce cycle times and improve setup repeatability.

Requirements
CNC Milling Mastery: Minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in CNC milling. You should be an expert in workholding, tool selection, and speeds/feeds.
Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to read blueprints, interpret G-code, and solve geometric or mechanical problems on the fly.
Inventory Management: Experience tracking tool life and ordering shop supplies Leadership Qualities: Strong communication skills and the ability to keep a team motivated and on schedule.
