Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the scheduling of our tanker fleet, ensuring timely and efficient delivery services.
- Act as a primary communication liaison between drivers, customers, and internal teams.
- Monitor driver routes and provide real-time solutions to logistical challenges.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, including tracking of delivery status and documentation.
- Proven experience as a dispatcher in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong geographic knowledge, especially Midwest and surrounding regions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse group of individuals.
- Proficiency in dispatch software and strong computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility with work hours, ready to step in during various shifts as needed.
