What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cylinder Delivery Driver-Propane Industry position at Altogas, Inc.?
Altogas is looking for a friendly, team oriented and energetic persons to join our growing team at our Alto plant. Our successful candidate must enjoy working mostly outdoors, be able to lift up to pounds on a regular basis, and stay on his/her feet for extended periods of time.
This is a CDL Driver propane industry position, and we will train you how to safely operate equipment as you perform the following functions:
Primary responsibility will be to inspect, refill and deliver propane cylinders.
Safely load and deliver propane to residential and commercial cylinder and bulk customers.
Interact with customers as you deliver propane to their commercial storage tanks and home delivery to residences.
Use handheld computer tablet to create delivery tickets and keep inventory of product on the truck.
Inspect truck and storage tanks on a regular basis.
Assist other Altogas team members as needed
Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brake endorsements are required for this position, but we will train and assist you to attain these endorsements if you don't currently have them.
Pre-employment drug screen and physicals are required prior to hire. Driver records will be reviewed prior to hiring.
