- What You'll Do:
- Adhere to and promote top-notch safety standards following regulatory agency requirements.
- Install and fine-tune equipment like blow molds, trimmers, and more.
- Handle mold and equipment changes while maintaining peak conditions of machines.
- Regularly inspect hoses, valves, and pumps; perform necessary replacements and repairs.
- Execute preventive maintenance and address equipment malfunctions efficiently.
- Partner with diverse teams, adapting to plant-specific equipment needs.
- Guidance and additional support provided for complex challenges.
Qualifications:
- Proficient mathematical and computer skills.
- Strong understandings of hydraulic systems and pneumatics.
- A keen eye for detail.
Preferred Background:
- 2 years of relevant maintenance experience within the manufacturing sector.
- High School diploma or GED certification preferred.
- Certified operator of OSHA-compliant forklifts is an asset.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
Perform job functions with considerable physical tiring, handling tasks like lifting and moving 50-pound weights, standing, walking, and kneeling as necessary. Remain adaptable to environmental conditions inside the plant, which may include fluctuating temperatures and loud noises.
