Plastics Production Maintenance Mechanic

Join us to champion equipment uptime across our blow molding lines and support systems—while modeling safety, GMP discipline, and teamwork. Your Mission Own equipment health: install, adjust, and repair blow molders, trimmers, palletizers, baggers, and auxiliary gear; step in to operate blow mold or injection equipment as needed.Lead efficient changeovers: molds, neck tooling, pins, and other format changes.Keep fluids in check: inspect and replace pneumatic/hydraulic hoses; rebuild or swap valves and pumps.Prevent problems before they start: execute PMs that keep machines in optimal processing condition.Fabricate solutions: weld, build, and repair parts and guarding.Find root causes fast: troubleshoot, resolve issues, and communicate clearly across departments.Adapt to context: duties vary by plant based on equipment and layout. Follow direction from a Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician or Supervisor; expect support on unusual problems and work reviews for sound judgment.Champion safety: comply with corporate standards and applicable laws/regulations every step of the way.Heads-up: business needs may require reasonable mandatory overtime. Skills & Background Solid basics: math, computer use, and fundamentals of pneumatics/hydraulics.Mindset: meticulous attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. Preferred 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.OSHA forklift certification. Where You’ll Work Fast-paced production floor with moving mechanical parts; loud noise levels.Temperatures vary by season; PPE required in designated areas.
