SUMMARY:

Receives and verifies all incoming items and keeps records on incoming and outgoing supplies by performing the duties as indicated below. Assists in the proper storing and handling of the unit owner deliveries and packages.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – (Other duties may be included)

  • Compares identifying information and verifies quality, counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
  • Ensuring that proper shipping labels are adhered to outgoing packages prior to accepting for shipment.
  • Examines incoming shipments, reject damages packages, records package shortages and notifies supervisor of any discrepancies. Routes items to departments and unit owners.
  • Uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
  • Notifies other departments at the time of arrival of merchandise for all unit owners.
  • Properly mark purchase orders for each and every item received, specifying quantity, date and all necessary information.
  • Adhere to all Sanitation and Safety Standards and Guidelines.
  • Maintains cleanliness of storerooms
  • Maintains security in storerooms.
  • Secure all invoices and forward to property manager
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Responsible of checking in and checking out of third party contractors to ensure only authorized individuals enter the property per property contractor spreadsheet.
  • Oversee all deliveries as for daily delivery spreadsheet.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/ OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic computer skills, knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Microsoft office

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
