Job Description
Altis Biosystems, Inc. is seeking a full-time Account Manager to join our Business Development team. We are seeking a highly organized, client-focused Account Manager to manage a portfolio of existing product and services accounts. Reporting into business development, this role works cross-functionally with services, quality, technical support, and logistics to deliver a high-value customer experience and long-term client success. The position is focused on relationship management, onboarding, communication, retention, and identifying opportunities for additional work within existing accounts.
Please note this role is hybrid to start, with the potential to transition to fully remote based on performance. No travel is required. Occasional off-hours work may be needed to support a global client base.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary client contact and internal coordinator for an assigned portfolio of accounts.
- Manage existing accounts to support adoption, engagement, and overall account health.
- Lead onboarding for new clients and coordinate initial support to ensure early client success.
- Track communications, timelines, deliverables, open issues, and follow-up actions across 20–50 accounts in parallel.
- Partner with business development, services, quality, support, and logistics to align priorities and ensure timely execution.
- Maintain proactive, consistent communication that keeps clients informed, aligned, and confident in the partnership.
- Identify opportunities for additional services, broader product adoption, expanded scope, or referrals within existing accounts.
- Resolve client issues quickly and professionally by coordinating across internal teams to remove barriers.
- Maintain accurate account records and next-step follow-up.
- Support Project Leads with proposals and account planning activities as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in account management, sales, client services, customer success, project coordination, or similar client-facing role.
- Experience managing multiple client accounts at the same time, ideally in a high-volume, short turnaround environment.
- Experience serving as a primary point of contact for clients, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting onboarding, implementation or launches for products or services.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple internal and external workstreams while managing deadlines and follow-up actions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for trackers, account status reporting, and detailed follow-up management.
- Experience working in CRM systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with HubSpot.
- Experience using project management software to coordinate timelines and deliverables; experience with Wrike is a plus.
- Prior experience supporting clients in life sciences, biotech, pharmaceutical development, or another related technical environment.
- Ability to identify growth opportunities with existing accounts while maintaining a service-first, relationship-oriented approach.
