Job Summary

The Shipping Specialist is responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory management, incoming parts, outbound product inspections, and other office or warehouse duties as required.

Essential Functions

• Receive parts and finished products to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Assist in quality testing and inspection of incoming parts and products.
• Document necessary activities to ensure compliance with applicable requirements, maintain product history reports and track all products and parts.
• Pick, test, package, and ship parts and accessories.
• Package and ship finished products in a manner that minimizes product problems caused during shipment.
• Operate forklift to move products from warehouse to product line and vice versa.
• Comply with all quality standards to maintain a safe working environment and meet product quality criteria.
• Perform special projects as required.
• Create a positive and supportive work environment.
• Understands and adheres to Quality & Compliance policies and procedures.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Utilizes appropriate personal protective equipment where/when necessary.
• Contributes to a respectful, non-hostile, non-violent work environment.
• Understands the purpose, value, and impact work has on product customers and users.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior assembly, warehouse, or shipping experience preferred.
• Will be required to successfully complete forklift operator training
  
  

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Ability to bend and crouch while working with hand tools.
• Repetitive use of upper hands and extremities.
• Ability to grasp and use hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, power tools, etc.
• Must have dexterity to work with small parts as well as lift heavy items.
  
  

Summary

We offer a competitive hourly rate in the range of $20.25 to $22.62, based on experience and qualifications, along with annual bonus and profit-sharing opportunities tied to performance.
